Volunteer Collection Site: Our volunteers sort, pack, and ship items to send to the troops. Feel free to drop off donations in person or to just have a cup of coffee and help out.

In a nod to Veterans’ Day (November 11th), we take a moment at 11AM to pause and remember those who gave their lives or were wounded serving our country in prior wars

as well as the current conflicts.

When: Saturdays 9AM – Noon

Special Ops:

Adopt-A-Battalion would like to thank all those who were able to either attend in person or just support our fund raiser held at Sergio's Restaurant in Massapequa on March 12th. Your donations will help us continue to send care packages to our troops serving in Afghanistan and also to assist as necessary our veterans in need who have served our country since September 11, 2001. Again, thank you on their behalf.

Please make note that beginning on Monday, April 1, 2013, and continuing through Monday, May 20, 2013, we will be temporarily accepting donated items for our troops from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and again from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at our usual drop off location at the Our Lady of the Island Knights of Columbus Council, 2 East Gate Road, Massapequa Park. The Saturday morning drop off will be discontinued for this time period as the building will not be available. The normal Saturday morning drop off will resume again on Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
